1
Vendor notifications went out
Clippership support ends December 31, 2026. Don’t get caught at rate change with an outdated system and risk of being out of compliance with the carriers.
2
The stack is sunsetting in parallel
Legacy ODBC connectors and older Windows Server versions have their own end-of-support dates. This is not a deadline you can negotiate.
3
Migrations run 90 to 180 days
Every day past the deadline is a production risk. To allow time and avoid the end of year project deadline rush, projects need to kick off by October 1 at the latest.
For Clippership users

You do not have to move to multi-tenant SaaS to stay compliant.

The vendor's recommended path is cloud SaaS. There is another path. Same business outcome, different deployment model, no forced re-architecture.

Frequently asked

The questions that come up.

When exactly does Clippership reach end of life?

For customers who received direct vendor notifications, on-premise Clippership deployments hit end-of-life and support sunset on December 31, 2026.

Why is the vendor ending support?

Legacy on-premise Clippership architecture depends on older components including Progress DataDirect ODBC connectors and older Windows Server versions, several of which are sunsetting on their own schedules. The vendor is consolidating remaining customers onto their multi-tenant cloud product.

Do I have to move to a multi-tenant SaaS product?

No. The vendor's recommended path is SaaS, but you can move to another on-premise platform. DigitalShipper Enterprise is on-premise with a perpetual license.

Can I keep my ERP integration?

In most cases, yes. DigitalShipper ships 76+ ERP connectors including the systems Clippership customers commonly run. If your ERP is on our list, integration is configuration, not custom development.

What happens to my custom Clippership modifications?

DigitalShipper has a source-level plug-in architecture. Custom rating rules, label formats, address logic, and workflow steps are typically portable. We scope this in Discovery.

How long does a Clippership-to-DigitalShipper migration take?

Typical range is 90 to 120 days from kickoff to cutover, including parallel-run reconciliation. Complex multi-site or heavy-customization projects can extend to 180 days.

What if we already started evaluating the vendor's cloud replacement?

We will run a side-by-side against the cloud path you have been shown. Bring the quote and the scope. We will show you total cost over five years and where the on-premise or dedicated-cloud path lands.

Do you support resellers who currently sell Clippership?

Yes. See our reseller program page for partner margins and program details, or contact us directly to start the conversation.
